We are currently hiring for the position of lead planner for the 2023/24 wedding season.

For the Lead Planner position, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has great communication skills
  • Is detail oriented and organized
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Is able to meet deadlines
  • Is resourceful and creative
  • Is logistically strong
  • Has at least 1 year of experience as a wedding day assistant/planner OR is WPIC (Wedding Planner Institute of Canada) certified or will soon be
  • Has their driver’s license and access to a vehicle

You will be expected to:

  • Communicate with your assigned couples via email and phone before, during, and after a wedding day
  • Create documents for the wedding day such as day of timeline, decor plan, & floor plans within set time frames
  • Use Word or Mac programs efficiently as well as planning software tools, like Social Tables.
  • Setup and take down decor as agreed upon with your couples
  • Coordinate with vendors, family/friends, and the couples to create a seamless experience for everyone involved
  • Coordinate the rehearsal alongside the person marrying the couple
  • Solve problems and create solutions for any issues that may arise leading up to or on the day of the wedding
  • Occasionally assist other lead planners as an assistant on their wedding days
